Liz began her journey in the hair industry over 13 years ago at the prestigious Aveda Institute of Portland. Since then, she has refined her craft in high-end salon environments while continuing advanced education with some of the industry’s most respected artists and brands, including Aveda, Oribe, R+Co, R+Color, and Goldwell. Her work blends precision, creativity, and thoughtful technique to create hair that feels as good as it looks. Specializing in longer hairstyles, modern short cuts, and curly textures of all kinds, Liz is known for enhancing the natural beauty of every client’s hair. From loose waves to tight coils, she understands the unique needs of each curl pattern and focuses on shape, movement, and long-term hair health to create effortless, low-maintenance styles. Her expertise also includes professional color, extensions, and Keratin smoothing treatments, allowing her to tailor every service to each guest’s individual lifestyle and goals. Becoming a local entrepreneur was never something Liz planned—it simply unfolded naturally through her passion for her craft and the relationships she built with her clients. Today, her vision extends beyond beautiful hair. She is deeply committed to creating unity within the beauty industry, believing there is no need for competition when there are so many humans in the world to care for and make feel beautiful. Elizabeth has intentionally built a salon environment that is human-positive, body-positive, and welcoming to all. She believes it is an honor and privilege to be trusted with someone’s hair, and she approaches every appointment with respect, care, and gratitude. Her goal is simple: that every person who sits in her chair feels genuinely seen, heard, and treated beautifully. Transparency and integrity are central to Elizabeth’s approach. She always puts her clients’ needs first while respecting the health and integrity of the hair. Her guests can expect honest, straightforward guidance and a professional opinion they can trust—no guesswork, no pressure, just thoughtful collaboration. Liz also believes that what we put on our bodies matters. She prioritizes clean, renewable, and sustainably sourced products whenever possible, creating beautiful results without adding unnecessary toxins to your hair or the environment. Outside the salon, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband, their two dogs Murphy and Mia, and their daughter, who has brought even more joy and perspective to her life. When she’s not behind the chair, you can often find her cooking new recipes, reading a good book or listening to some good music!
